POSTERIZED: Dez Wells knew we were in the house

On Wednesday night, the #BIAHroadtrip made a stop at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, OH to watch Xavier play Duquesne in a early-season A-10 battle. The Musketeers swarmed the Dukes form the get-go and cruised to victory 78-50.

I'm not sure what was more impressive, Xavier's suffocating team defense, or the one-man aerial assault put on display by freshman Dez Wells.

The athletic forward had six, COUNT 'EM, six massive dunks, and if I hadn't been sitting courtside, I may have thought I was watching "Mr. DVR" tony Mitchell take flight.

But seriously, Wells did the damn thing.

I'm not sure which dunk was the most impressive, because, well, they were all really impressive. Look at his second dunk, he grabs the ball about three feet away from the basket.

One of the things we wanted to accomplish while on our #BIAHroadtrip was to see three legitimate #POSTERIZED dunks in-person. We would have 13 games to accomplish this feat. Little did I know that one person in one game would cross this objective off the list.

No disrespect to Tony Mitchell, but Wells may have just put on the best single-game dunk performance of the year. Seeing a massive dunk on TV is one thing, but seeing one take place 15 feet from you is another thing. Imagine that it happens six times over. It was amazing, absolutely amazing.

But it's ironic that Wells is becoming a human highlight reel because like "Mr. DVR", he also wear the No.5 jersey.

But was it as good as these?
