Tuesday Morning Dump

- In case you missed it, we released the B.I.A.H All-Name Team yesterday. Eric Angevine dropped his All-Name awards as well

- This is a must-bookmark page for anybody seeking knowledge on the Summit League

- If you're a simpleton like me and don't know a god-damn thing about tempo-free statistics, you might want to give this post a gander

- A great-read from Gary Parrish on Memphis senior Wesley Witherspoon, who, probably shouldn't ever made it to senior year at the school. Speaking of Parrish, he ripped into the SEC media for putting Kentucky freshman Anthony Davis on the second team

- The Maui Invitational is absolutely stacked, but will it be the best November-tournament?

- Is this the year we start seeing NCAA tournament bans?

- College football and basketball players are signing a petition to get a cut of TV revenue? That's the dumbest thing I've heard all month. Seriously, how many of these players are going to stay all four years? Do we think they will even spend this money properly? This idea is just crap

- According the Cincinnati athletic director, the Big East needs to repair the trust they broke

- Missouri will be traveling to Joplin, the town struck by a hellacious fury of tornadoes, to play an exhibition game against Missouri-Southern (DII)

- As part of Jeff Eisenberg's West Coast Conference preview, he put together a solid Q&A session with BYU guard Charles Abouo

- Rush The Court provides a solid preseason primer for the Horizon League

- St. John's head coach Steve Lavin is likely to miss the exhibition opener as he continues to recover from prostate cancer surgery

- Xavier superstar Tu Holloway will have to sit out the first game of the season because of a silly NCAA violation

- Two UCLA players suffered concussions in the past week

- Saint Mary's guard Paul McCoy suffered a knee injury. The SMU-transfer tore his ACL two seasons ago, and now the Gaels are left with some depth issues in the back court

- There's nothing wrong with holding Midnight Madness during the week, right? (Dear Rush The Court, would it kill you to break up your paragraphs? signed, Troy's eyeballs)

- The National Hoops Report does their darnedest to predict the final standings for the SEC

- Iowa State nabbed a late signee in point guard Naz Long (Future All-Name-Teamer)

- Adam Zagoria updates us on some NYC-area recruiting news

- Searching for Billy Edelin provides an interesting list of the most-handcuffed teams in the country

- Not a single starter returns from Texas' 2010-2011 squad, but Rick Barnes is hopeful this won't be a "rebuilding year"

- Minnesota is hoping to get a lot of production out of the their sharpshooters this season

- If you are short on time, this is the perfect Pac-12 season preview for you

- As expected, the main storyline to watch for at Kansas State will be how the Wildcats manage without the services of Jacob Pullen

- A good-read on St. John's D'Angelo Harrison

- It will be interesting to see how the Midshipmen operate under new head coach Ed DeChellis

This doesn't really surprise me. After all, Mike Brey donned a kilt last season
