Wednesday Morning Dump

- The Big East isn't going to add any schools located in states with current Big East members. So basically, schools in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington D.C., West Virginia, or Wisconsin won't be allowed to join

- Gary Parrish wrote a fantastic article on what Bruce Pearl's assistants are going through now

- Speaking of CBS writers and exiled coaches, Jeff Goodman has good stuff on Kelvin Sampson

- Former-Maryland coach Gary Williams is one of the many people who believe that college basketball (and college football) needs it's own commissioner

- Arizona guard Kevin Parrom, who was involved in a shooting in the Bronx over the weekend, is back in Arizona now. According to head coach Sean Miller, his status will be unknown for a month or so

- Apparently BYU has been offered a spot in the Big-12. Is Temple on the Big East's radar? The ACC isn't likely to make a decision on UConn any time soon. What the Hell is this? Duke should leave the ACC?

- Butler got a solid pickup in the form of 6-foot-8 forward Nolan Berry

- DePaul got their second commitment in the class of 2012

- Cal State-Fullerton is barely hanging on to it's D-I status. Budget cuts, lack of revenue and a high tuition prices are all reason why CS-F might be forced to cut some of their athletic programs
