The USA's U-19 team had a disappointing finish to the World Championships, needing a late bucket to beat Australia in the fifth place game.
And while the finish was less than inspiring, I can't be the only one that was thankful to have some college level hoops to watch and talk about in July. I learned some things to, like that Jeremy Lamb could turn into a star if he doesn't develop a Jerome Dyson-esque attitude, or that the only thing that kept Patric Young from being a star last season was the presence of Vernon Macklin and Alex Tyus.
The folks at FIBA put together a solid mixtape for both players. This qualifies as a POSTERIZED because, well, Young's tape involves a number of impressive dunks. See if you recognize Jonas Valanciunas, the No. 5 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft:
And here is Lamb's tape. He'll have the best midrange game in college basketball next season:
