Rodney Purvis de-commits from Louisville

Three weeks ago, Frank Haith added former Louisville assistant Tim Fuller to his staff at Missouri.

Fuller, who is very close to Haith, was known for his ability to recruit. The North Carolina native was integral in getting Rodney Purvis, a 6'4" guard and top ten player in the class of 2012, to commit to Louisville. And today, Dave Telep broke the news that Purvis has decided to open up his recruitment.

"It was hard losing [assistant coach] Tim Fuller and then having to focus," Purvis told Telep. "I talked it over with my family and we came to the conclusion that I would open up my recruitment."

Its obviously a big loss for Louisville -- losing a kid ranked in the top ten always is -- but the Cardinals are not out of the mix just yet. Purvis said that Louisville is still on his list, but has he builds a relationship with Pitino's new staff, he wants to keep his options open.

Here's a video of what Purvis is capable of:

A lot of people questioned the hiring of Frank Haith. NOBODY has questioned the hiring of Tim Fuller. Dude already has us in living rooms we never would have imagined a month ago!
