Tuesday Morning Dump

- The big news of the day wasn't that Baylor's Perry Jones is returning for his sophomore season. No, it was that two former San Diego players and one former assistant were indicted on charges relating to a point shaving scandal. Those two words, "point shaving" may be the worst in the entire lexicon of college hoops

- Rob Dauster provides a list of 11 players who could have breakout seasons in 2011-2012

- Matt Norlander put together a nice collage of the best pictures of the season

- News came out yesterday regarding the final violation which cost Bruce Pearl his job. According to the University, a parent of a player was provided with two free tickets to a game in March

- Jimmer Fredette is so popular that it's no longer safe for him to attend class (Best.Excuse.Ever)

- Two Florida Gators (and one student manager) were arrested early Sunday morning on burglary charges. The trio attempted to break into a car outside of bar in St. Augustine, Florida.

- It is expected that Kemba Walker will announce his decision to enter the NBA draft later today. Speaking of Kemba, he and coach Calhoun don't see eye-to-eye on baseball. Calhoun, a Boston-native, threw out the first pitch at the Red Sox home game, while Walker, a Bronx-native is slated to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming Yankees game

- Oregon guard Malcolm Armstead has been granted his release from the program and will transfer. The guard cited "wanting to be closer to home" as his main reason for leaving the school

- With the departure of the Morris twins, the Jayhawks are now officially Tyshawn Taylor's team

- South Carolina's Ramon Galloway will transfer to LaSalle

- Freshman Cleveland Melvin was the breakout star for DePaul last season, but another Blue Demon freshman had more productive results

- With his team's head coaching position still up in the air, Miami's Reggie Johnson has decided to test the draft waters

- Speaking of Miami, the Hurricanes are targeting Harvard coach Tommy Amaker for their head coaching position. Kansas State head coach Frank Martin has stated that their has been no contact between himself and Miami. But regardless (or irregardless for you grammar-freaks), of who the new head come is, he will need to tap in to the local recruiting scene

- Former-Louisville assistant Steve Massiello is eager to start out his new job as head coach at Manhattan, along with resuscitating the program

- Instead of taking the Providence job, Jeff Battle will continue to be an assistant coach at Wake Forest

- Mid-Major Madness put together a bunch of great quotes from around the interwebs on UNLV's hiring of Dave Rice

- Who would have thought that Arizona's biggest off-season loss wouldn't be Derrick Williams? Head coach Sean Miller will have to find a suitable replacement for his brother/assistant coach Archie Miller
