Thursday Morning Dump

- Gary Parrish doesn't understand why Kentucky fans are so pissed at Bob Knight (Neither do I. Seriously. Get over it. it's Bob Knight. I stopped taking him seriously about five years ago.) But should ESPN be held responsible for what Knight said?

- Derrick Williams played the final two months of the season with a broken pinkie

- The expectations of Vanderbilt just got a lot higher. The Commodores trio of Festus Ezeli, John Jenkins and Jeff Taylor will all return to school next year. With the announcement that the Kentucky trio of Knight, Jones and Liggins will declare for the draft, Vanderbilt has to be considered the early favorite to win the SEC next year. - Kevin Ware signed an LOI with Central Florida earlier in the week. However, that LOI was denied because a NCAA rule prevents a player from signing an LOI with two teams in the same year. Despite this clause, Ware still intends to play for the Golden Knights

- On Monday, we addressed the issue of Vee Sanford transferring from Georgetown (which was quite possibly the most time anybody has ever taken to address Vee Sanford). Casual Hoya provides some updates on Vee's transfer options

- Jim Boeheim is the master of confusing the media to no end

- According to new Miami AD Shawn Eichorst, the new Hurricanes head coach needs to have a positive attitude (Which is probably why Frank Martin was never contacted). But consider this, Miami hasn't even interviewed any coaches yet. Hell, Stetson and Kennesaw State already have new head coaches. What are they waiting for?

- Patrick Nero, the Commissioner of the America East Conference has stepped down in order to become the new Athletic Director at George Washington
