Three big time recruits commit

Three potential all-american recruits declared their college intentions yesterday:

  • PG Tony Wroten -- Washington: Wroten is a talented, lefty point guard that joined a Husky recruiting class that already includes Hikeem Stewart and Jernard Jerreau. The consensus No. 30 recruit, Wroten came down to Washington and Louisville, and the Seattle native decided to stay home. If Isaiah Thomas is back for his senior season, and Abdul Gaddy doesn't leave the school, Lorenzo Romar is going to have one helluva back court in 2011.

  • SG Jabari Brown -- Oregon: Dana Altman needs to keep landing recruits like Brown if he is to rebuild the Ducks' program anytime soon. Brown is a strong, 6'5" off-guard with a jump shot that is the consensus No. 17 recruit.

  • PF -- Johnny O'Bryant -- LSU: The kid with the Irish last name from the Cleveland in Mississippi, O'Bryant is a big, physical presence inside. He was a top 10 recruit heading into the summer, but has since slipped to the No. 23 recruit in our rankings. O'Bryant is a huge coup for Trent Johnson.
