I love fan raps, and today, we bring you Blake Campbell, a Furman student and Duke fan who put out a link to this video last night:
I won't question this kid's fanhood. He's clearly a diehard, and I support any and all diehards. I will question his use of autotune, however. It sucks when Lil' Wayne uses it. There's no way Mr. Campbell was going to pull it off. He was fighting a losing battle.
I'll also question his decision to say "Greg Paulus, I love you man. ... You changed my life." I feel like that's self-explanatory.
Beyond that, nice work.

Hmm, I kinda have mixed reactions on this rap:
- There are some fantastic lines, but also a couple of duds.
- way too much autotune
- He's white and he goes to Furman, which is a HBC. Now there is nothing wrong with that, I just always find it interesting.
- He does make a good point about crying. you work your whole life working for something and yous ee it all come crashing down.
- Way too much autotune
Overall, I'll give it a 6.5 outta 10
Agreed. Solid effort, room for improvement.
Furman is in NO way, shape, or form an HBC.
It's about the whitest school possible.
Oh damn, I was thinking about Spellman, not Furman.
Honest mistake.
