Wednesday Morning Dump

It feels like a Tuesday, but in fact, it is actually Wednesday.

Thanks to Memorial Day, we will all forget the trash and recycling comes a day later, and get stuck with two weeks worth of garbage festering in the June heat.

If you live in a place that isn't hot in June, or in a place that doesn't have a recycling system, just imagine I'm shaking my fist at you in disapproval. Because I am. Right now. As I am typing this.

Here is what's going on in the world of college hoops.

- Seth Davis details Steve Lavin's seven year sabbatical

- As is generally the case, Gary Parrish gets it right, this time taking a look at the drawbacks to a new recruiting rule

- Jeff "two scoops" Goodman on an unlikely second chance

- Andy Katz provides insight to how Tom Izzo continues to build a legacy at MSU

- Mike DeCourcy on the Calipari haters

- "He had never had a previous NCAA violation and from further investigation we, along with five other universities who were trying to hire him, felt like it was unlikely for (the) allegations to be valid," Stull said. Who is that about?

- UTEP transfer Arnett Moultrie will take visits before deciding his future

- Seton Hall's Herb Pope was released from the hospital

- Advice to sportswriters (hey, that's us!)

- Congrats to The Big Lead for this news. He tweeted at 7:54 am this morning, however. Jason, do you need me to teach you how to celebrate? Seven figures, bro, c'mon.

- Is the NCAA investigation at Oklahoma finished?

- Is Daniel Orton overhyped? (I certainly think so)

- Changes to Big XII summer recruiting? Doubtful

- Daniel Ochefu likes Georgetown

- Malcom Eleby leaving St. Bonaventures amidst probe

- A fresh look at a brand new Boise State team

- A mock draft courtesy of Ridiculous Upside

- A Michigan State recruiting hotlist
