Terrence Jones to sign today

Today is the last day of the spring signing period, and it appears that it will finally be the last day of the Terrence Jones drama.

Yesterday, the Oregonian reported that Jones "was definitely going to sign" at some point today. Whether he is going to sign a letter of intent or a financial aid agreement, and what school he will be signing with, remains unclear. For what its worth, Pat Strickland, Jones' high school coach, believes he will be signing with Washington, and that he will indeed be signing an LOI.

I never support signing an LOI, but in this case Jones might just want to do that. At this late of a date, being legally bound to a school doesn't really matter -- if Jones is going to attend summer classes, he will be enrolling within the next few weeks -- and if he is truly this torn about the decision, putting a pen to an LOI will finally end all speculation.
