ACC play kicks off tonight as we have our first two power conference games tonight:
- 5:30 pm: Florida State @ Georgia Tech: The Seminoles take on the Yellow Jackets in a game pitting two teams with high expectations in the off-season. Led by Gani Lawal and Derrick Favors, Tech has earned a top 20 ranking, but the Noles has their own talented front line and future NBA draft pick at center. I like FSU's athleticism and length, but I just don't think they have enough offensive talent to be major factor in the ACC.
- 7:45 pm: NC State @ Wake Forest: NC State looks like they may be better than in years past, as they hav already picked up a win at Marquette and are 8-1 on the season. But will they have the size or the quickness to stay with a team like Wake, that loves getting out and running the floor. With Ish Smith starting to really play well and CJ Harris and Ari Stewart turning into legitimate scoring threats, Wake is a team that is going to sneak up on people in this league.
- 1:00 pm: UCF @ UConn: The only other ranked team in action, the Huskies host UCF and Marcus Jordan.
- 12:00 pm: Davidson vs. Cornell
- 2:00 pm: Hofstra vs. St. John's
- 2:00 pm: Bradley @ Iowa State
- 4:00 pm: Bryant @ Boston College
- 5:00 pm: South Florida vs. San Diego
