It started with just a simple, spur of the moment dance move during Kentucky's Big Blue Madness.
"It's not really my dance; it's just something I saw in a video and decided to do at Midnight Madness," John Wall told the Charlotte Observer. "I never thought it would get so big."
Well, now the dance is everywhere, from deer hunts to the Great Wall of China. Hell, the John Wall Dance facebook page has almost 15,000 fans as of this morning.
Perhaps the biggest sign this dance is here to stay?
It made an episode of Cougar Town.
I wonder how long it will be before Wall does the John Wall Dance after dunking on someone.

what.the.hell.is.cougar.town.?
Do the "self-proclaimed experts" that run this site generally "dispense their wisdom" by regurgitating a previously written article from another site?

Hate to tell you this, Ryan, but RTC was far from the first people to know about the John Wall Dance:

Check the dates on those links big guy.
Does that mean RTC regurgitated their post, too? Yes and no. When something goes viral, you post about it. Its what bloggers do, and is anything in my post and the post at RTC the same other than the video of Cougar Town is posted and I linked two of the same videos? (which, for the record, are the two most interesting if you look up John Wall Dance on youtube. Try it.)
Oh, and for the record, I write for RTC:
http://rushthecourt.net/2009/12/17/checking-in-on-the-big-east-14/
http://rushthecourt.net/2009/12/09/rtc-live-kentucky-vs-connecticut/
http://rushthecourt.net/2009/11/27/rtc-live-preseason-nit-consolation-uconn-vs-duke/
So eat me.
I obviously realize that RTC was not the first to write about the John Wall dance and I am not taking issue with the face that you wrote about it. I take issue with the fact that your article is striking similar to theirs with the same hyperlinks and mentions of the Great Wall, etc. Multiple outlets write about the same topic on a daily basis, but they generally try to put their own spin on the story so as to not appear unoriginal and lazy. The fact that you write for RTC only indicts you further because it is highly likely that you saw their article and used it as the framework for your shorter version of the same article. If you want to defend your lack of originality, that's your problem
