There are a lot of things you can do to prepare for a game, to get yourself mentally and physically ready play. To get hyped. To get fired up. To get the adrenaline flowing.
Whatever cliche sports term you throw in there, the end goal is the same. It is what makes the game feel like it matters, like it's your obligation to society to go out there and put it all on the line, regardless of the opponent or circumstance.
When I played competitive sports, I was an energy guy. The type of player who would smack the floor on defense, bang my chest after a big play, and spend the entire pre-game sitting in the corner with a black hoodie on, listening to war music.
Now that my athletic career is long over, I look forward to the ten or twenty minutes prior to tip-off as much as I do the actual game. With univerisaties investing millions in their athletic programs, it would make sense that even the pregame rituals are conducted at a professional level.
What does all of this mean?
The pregame jumbotron videos are spectacular!
Scouring the internet is one of the things we do best here at BIAH, and we used those skills to find some of the best current pregame jumbotron videos from across the college basketball landscape. There's no better experience that watching one of these instant-adrenaline-rushes and feeling the hair on your neck stand straight up.
This isn't a complete list of current pregame videos. We are trying to find more of them. If you stumble across one, hit us up at contactBIAH@gmail.com.
Turn the volume up for this. Trust me, its worth it.
