Not many games of consequence on last night, and there will be even fewer on tonight. The only game worth watching tonight? Pacific heads to St Mary's to take on the Gaels at 10 pm.
That's it.
And last night was not much better.
Florida State 76, Auburn 72: For the second straight game, Solomon Alabi scored 22 points, his career high. Last night, all but two of those points came in the second half as he helped the Seminoles avoid blowing a 14 point second half lead. Michael Snaer and Deividas Dulkys each scored 14 for the Noles, while Frankie Sullivan and DeWayne Reed had 17 points each to lead Auburn.
UNLV 72, Weber State 63: Matt Shaw scored 16 points and UCLA transfer Chace Stanback scored 15 as UNLV was able hand on against a tough Weber State team. Tre'Von Willis came off the bench for the second straight game as he is battling back issues, then proceeded to roll an ankle near the end of the first half.
NC State 79, Elon 76: Dennis Horner had 23 points and Tracy Smith cored 13 of his 21 in the second half, including two big baskets down the stretch, and the Wolfpack was able to hold on against Elon.
LSU 63, Nicholl's State 60: Tasmin Mitchell his a three with 36 seconds left to give the Tigers the win.
Tulsa 92, Jackson State 39: Jackson State is still winless as the Golden Hurricane hit 15 threes.
BYU 77, Wagner 61: BYU used an early 14-0 run to open up a big lead against Wagner. Tyler Haws had 16 and Jonathon Tavernari had 14 to lead the Cougars.
Oakland 77, Seattle 68: Larry Wright had 21 points and 6 boards and Keith Benson added 16 points, 16 boards, and 5 blocks as the Grizzlies beat Seattle. Charles Garcia, who came into the game averaging 25 and 10, was held to just 5 points and 7 boards in 20 foul plagued minutes.
