The BIAH Quotables

This a new feature we are trying out here at BIAH this season. Throughout the week, we are going to post some notable quotes or excerpts that show up in our google reader. Stupid people say stupid things 24 hours a day, and being somehow associated with the college hoops landscape does not preclude that fact. That said, we will not limit our quotables to the simple and idiotic, as the insightful and intelligent will also be highlighted. Roy Williams talking about UNC's loss to Syracuse last night:

We got our tails beat by a very good basketball team. I would hate to play that non-Division I team [Le Moyne] on a regular basis if they are better than Syracuse.

Coach Cal is always primed for a candid quote, and we got some good ones in the last few days. First, on his team's defensive performance against Sam Houston State:

If we don't do better defensively folks, we are in trouble. Do you think we can score 100 against everybody? Because we're going to have to. They are going to score 100 against us.

Our execution stinks right now. It stinks because everybody's trying to get theirs.

And Coach Cal on his thoughts of Kansas after watching them struggle to beat Memphis:

Maybe they’re just as bad as we are.

Jay Wright, when asked about Isaiah Armwood's game-winning three-pointer:

He was the last one I wanted to take the shot. I'll be honest.

Seth Davis, when asked about who the most entertaining player in the country is:
