Tuesday Morning Dump

- Ricky Rubio says that if the team that picks him is not headed in the right direction, he will stay in Spain.

- The Washington Post takes a look at Lance Stephenson. Good read, although rather uncomplimentary.

- Xavier Henry to Kentucky? This seems like a reach.

- Yesterday, we linked Andy Katz talking on a radio show about the problems with the one-and-done rule. Today, he calls out the coaches who allow this mockery to happen. Katz also wrote a glowing piece on Luke Harangody, and what would await him if he comes back to South Bend.

After the jump, hilarious Rihanna-Chris Brown video.

- Rivals takes a look at the exodus of americans headed to Europe to make a paycheck. As far as this being a "trend", I would lean towards this being a rash of isolated incidents - guys that either don't want to go to college (Brandon Jennings, Jeremy Tyler), that aren't enjoying their collegiate experience (David Huertas) or simply a case of the timing and the circumstances (i.e. holding dual citizenship) being right (Nick Calathes, Terrence Oglesby). Remember, Ra'Sean Dickey left Georgia Tech early for Europe last year. UPDATE: Tyler Smith to Europe too?

- Gary Parrish takes a look at Billy Donovan's decision to return to Gainesville (a follow-up here as well). I have to agree with Parrish on this one. Donovan is one of those guys perfected suited to the college game. Has anyone developed talent better than he has the last three or four years? How many people would have turned Joakim Noah, Corey Brewer, Al Horford, Mareese Speights, and Nick Calathes, who were far from NBA locks coming out of high school, into first-round (or potential first-round in Calathes' case) picks?

- The coach with the hottest seat in each conference.

- A complete list of the vacated NCAA Tournaments. A couple of big names show up, including Jim Calhoun, Lute Olson, Jim Valvano, and Larry Brown.

- USC's Marcus Johnson, who recently was granted another year of eligibility, has decided to turn pro and won't be returning to school.

- The New York Post says that Knicks GM Donnie Walsh really likes Hasheem Thabeet.

- Memphis will release their response to the NCAA allegations today. Apparently, they were notified of the investigation a month after they lost to Kansas in the 2008 title game.

- Arkansas junior guard Marcus Britt has been suspended indefinitely after getting a DUI.

- The Sports Agent Blog takes a look at the Billy Gillispie-Kentucky lawsuit.

- Rihanna's Revenge:

The Washington post is hitting College basketball pretty hard this week with articles about stevenson, then followed up today with an article about possibly changing the rules to get rid of the "one and done"
The writer proposed the idea of having freshman practice and study, but not play in games.

I for one like the idea, but it will never pass. Just like Derrick Rose on his SATs..... ZINGER
