ROBERT DOZIER'S SAT SCORES QUESTIONED: In the most ironic news of the day, on the same day Memphis releases a report claiming innocence in the Derrick Rose scandal, news comes out that he isn't the only former Memphis Tiger that had his SAT scores scrutinized.
Robert Dozier, who is from Georgia, was originally committed to Memphis, but actually ended up signing with the University of Georgia. Since the Bulldogs were dealing with the aftermath of Jim Harrick, they were ultra-sensitive about academic issues. The school flagged Dozier's first SAT score, forcing him to take it again.
Apparently his second test score was not enough to convince the school that both tests were taken by the same person, which in turn led to the end of Dozier's recruitment by UGa.
Dozier eventually wound up at Laurinberg Prep with future Tigers Antonio Anderson, Kareem Cooper, and Roburt Sallie before signing with Memphis.
UPDATE: Doneal Mack had his test scores questioned out of high school, and was denied entry to Florida.
