Back in March, Darren Collison was named the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award winner as the nation's best player under 6'0".
Why should anyone care about Collison receiving this award?
Because at the combine, Collison measured out at 6'0.25", a full quarter of an inch too tall to be eligible.
We already know that the NCAA cannot keep agents or runners off of campus's (see UConn and/or USC) and that they cannot determine whether a player is actually eligible to suit up (see Memphis's Derrick Rose and Robert Dozier), but now they are giving out awards to people who, by definition, are not eligible to receive the award?
Someone needs to check the SAT scores of Myles Brand.
