Coach K Does Not Care For Obama's Bracket

For those that were not anywhere near a Sportscenter today, Andy Katz did a segment with President Obama where Barack made his picks for the NCAA Tournament (Barack-Etology? Come on now).

The Madness goes all the way to the White House apparently.

Anyway, one of the most notable/funny quotes from the segment went like this:

"Because of Reggie Love, I've got to pick Duke," Obama said.

The whole way?

"No, no, not the whole way. Come on," Obama said.

How much influence does Love have?

"He doesn't have that much influence," Obama said. He chided his aide by saying a year ago Love picked the Blue Devils to go all the way, and then added, "I think it sort of stopped here," pointing to the second round of the bracket.

When Coach K was told about this, he responded:
Really it doesn't matter at all what anyone predicts; it's what you do. Somebody said that we're not in President Obama's Final Four. As much as I respect what he's done, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably, more than the brackets. So why would I care about that?

Coach K is a noted Republican. I wonder if that had anything to do with his bitterness?
