Indiana suspends Devan Dumes

Tom Crean has decided to suspend leading scorer Devan Dumes indefinitely after Dumes was ejected in the Hoosier's loss to Michigan State. Dumes was tossed after throwing an elbow with about two minutes left in the game, but it definitely wasn't the first elbow Dumes has thrown (not at a computer right now, but when I am I will try to find video of the indicent).

This just makes things even more difficult for Indiana, who is 6-16 this season (they did pick up their first Big Ten win last week against Iowa). Dumes was averaging 13.8 ppg to lead IUn who will be playing with just seven scholarship players until Dumes returns.

UPDATE: Seldom-used Oklahoma guard Ray Willis has been suspended as well after being caught on suspicion of driving drunk. It isn't the first time Willis has been in trouble this year. He was involved in a fight at a club that resulted in him getting stabbed, partially collapsing a lung.

UPDATE #2: I found of the elbow that got Dumes tossed, but it doesn't show the other ones he threw during the game. Good thing he didn't land it, because he swung hard.
