Friday Lay-up Lines: Bracket Busters kicks off

We get the first two games of the Bracket Busters series as Illinois State (22-5) travels to Niagara (21-7) and VCU (19-8) heads out west to take on Nevada (15-10). Personally, I am a big fan of Bracket Busters. I don't get to see a lot of MWC or MVC or WAC games here on the east coast, and these games give me (and everyone else in the country) a chance to see some of the better mid-majors play against quality competition.

If you are going to be filling out a bracket come March (and if you are reading this, then you probably will be), the I strongly suggest you watch scout some of these teams. There is just the two games tonight, but check back tomorrow for a full schedule of Saturday's Bracket Buster games.
