Wednesday Lay-up Lines

7:15 PM: Miami OH vs. Weber State in LA

8:00 PM: Northeastern @ Michigan - An interesting match-up tonight, as the winner will head to MSG for the CvC finals. Northeastern has a shot at winning this. They have a good back court in PG Chaisson Allen and SG Matt Janning, but they also have enough horses inside to battle with a team from the Big Ten. Manny Harris and Co. will have their work cut out for them.

8:00 PM: UMass @ Southern Illinois - In what probably amounts to the game of the night, UMass will take on SIU for a date with Duke in the CvC semi's in NYC. UMass has a ton off weapons offensively, and they aren't afraid to push the ball and get up shots. SIU is the complete opposite, as they want to grind out stops and use all 35 seconds offensively. The one thing these teams have in common is a good back court. If you are a basketball fan, then there is no way you don't enjoy watching the Saluki's BJ Mullins, Wesley Clemmons, and Kevin Dillard try to slow down the Minutemen's back court of Ricky Harris and Chris Lowe.

10:00 PM: Prairie View A&M @ UCLA

Some other tidbits to help you close out a Wednesday work day:

Semi-important tidbits you should know.

Stephen Curry has 41 in an exhibition game, but also 8 turnovers.

Pretty funny story, unless you're the old lady.

A good read on Arizona freshman Jeff Withey, who Arizona is not releasing from his scholarship so that he can transfer.
