JP Prince is out for a month

More injury news. Tennessee small forward JP Prince is out for 3-5 weeks with a partially torn muscle in his right shoulder. Prince underwent surgery on his left shoulder in April, and apparently this injury is similar. Word is he hurt it when he hit the floor hard during a practice last week.

This is really bad news for the Volunteers. Not only was Prince expected to start along side Wayne Chism and Tyler Smith in UT's front court, he was also the back up point guard. JuCo transfer and former Oklahoma Sooner Bobby Maze is the starter, but with freshman Daniel West still not cleared by the NCAA, Bruce Pearl was counting on Prince to log some minutes as the primary ball handler.
