Fan Rant: Kentucky Wildcats

Here at BIAH, we know what it means to be a college basketball die-hard. We also know what it feels like to have your team disappoint you, break your heart, and stomp on your hopes and dreams. This season, we will be running a series or Fan Rants. So if your favorite team has left you broken and battered, hop on your computer, grab a Coors Light wide mouth can, and send us an email (contactBIAH@gmail.com) venting all that built up pain and anguish. Trust us, it will make you feel better.

Here is our first Fan Rant of the year, coming from Kentucky Wildcat fan Dickmonius.

VMI??!! Are you kidding me??

How does a team returning All-Sec Patrick Patterson lose to a team picked to finish 7th in the BIG SOUTH... the same conference that Gardener-Webb plays in?

I am embarrassed to call myself a Kentucky Basketball Fan... again... for the 2nd year in a row. Unless this team fixes its point guard problem (Derrick Jasper feel free to get over being homesick and come back to Lexington), I don't see any chance for this team to be much better than last year's edition. They even managed to come back and take the lead against VMI, despite being down more than 20 points in the 2nd half, only to blow it. For all the talk of how hard Gillespie teams play, or how well conditioned they are, this team showed neither. If ESPN wants to put on another game Tuesday night, instead of Kentucky and North Carolina, I would appreciate the spared nationally televised beatdown that is likely coming. Thank God Hansbrough and Ginyard are hurt.
