Pac-10 Tournament

Bracket

#7 Arizona vs. #10 Oregon State
Winner plays #2 Stanford

#3 Washington State vs. #6 Oregon

#4 USC vs. #5 Arizona State

#8 Washington vs. #9 California
Winner plays #1 UCLA

Favorite - UCLA. Despite the questionable calls, UCLA swept Stanford and Cal last weekend to win the loaded Pac-10 by three games. UCLA has made back-to-back final fours, but this may be their best team out of the three with the addition of Pac-10 Player of the Year Kevin Love and the breakout season of Russell Westbrook.

Sleepers - Arizona and California. Arizona has had to deal with so much this year, from injuries to the Lute Olsen saga, and as a result has had a pretty disappointing season. But they are loaded with talent - led by Jerryd Bayless and Chase Budinger - and need to win a couple games to earn an at-large bid. Cal is not quite as talented, but had UCLA beat on Saturday. This team will go as far as Ryan Anderson takes them.

Most Intriguing Match-up - When (if) Arizona beats Oregon State, they match-up with Stanford in the second round. With San Diego getting the WCC bid, and South Alabama losing in the Sun Belt tourney, the number of at-large bids are shrinking, and with Arizona sitting squarely on the bubble, they will need that win against Stanford. It would also be interesting to see Cal get another shot at UCLA in the second round.

My Pick - UCLA. I really like Stanford and Brook Lopez, but I think that the Bruins are just too good this year and have too much experience in tournament play.
